About the Play
Adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens, 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' is based on the novel by Mark Haddon. The play unfolds the gripping story of 15-year-old Christopher, who embarks on a quest to clear his name after discovering his neighbor's dead dog. As he unravels the mystery, Christopher stumbles upon a greater enigma surrounding the sudden disappearance of his mother, encountering eccentric characters and overcoming immense challenges.
A Journey of Difference:
Christopher, gifted in mathematics, navigates a world where social cues are challenging, physical contact is detested, and strangers are distrusted. The play explores themes of being an outsider, perceiving the world uniquely, and embracing neurodiversity.
Beyond the Stage :
'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' offers more than just entertainment; it's an opportunity to ignite conversations on acceptance, understanding, and perseverance. Our production aims to raise awareness and foster empathy, creating a space for dialogue about neurodiversity and inclusivity.
