Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja on Wednesday, April 2, issued a 15-day deadline to Nairobi residents to pay their land rates.

In the notice, Sakaja declared that the new deadline had been set for April 15 as opposed to the usual March 31, which lapsed two days ago.

"Good news, Nairobi! The land rate payment deadline has been extended to April 15, 2025. Pay today, no penalties!" the notice read.

He further urged the residents to take the opportunity to pay their pending bills without incurring any penalties, stating, "Pay online by dialling #647# or visit any of our customer service centers."
