Our client is a dynamic event publicity and coordination company established in Kenya in 2017. With a strong focus on promoting music and other arts, they have an artist base spread across Kenya, Africa and beyond. They also provide event coordination & publicity services in addition to a soon-to-be-launched ticketing platform. They also have interests in the AirBnB space.

To further enhance their operations and maximise the potential of their artists, our client seeks a skilled Digital Community & Content Manager to manage their website and social media platforms.

Description

We're seeking a dynamic Digital Content and Community Manager to join our client’s team and elevate their online presence. You'll be responsible for creating, uploading and disseminating engaging content, managing our social media channels, and fostering a strong online community.

Key Responsibilities

Due to the dynamism of the role and the current growth trajectory of the organisation, the role will have operational, tactical and strategic elements which may evolve over time.

• Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and email newsletters.
• Content Management: Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery.
• Social Media Management: Oversee our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Create and curate engaging content, respond to comments and messages, and analyse performance metrics.
• Community Management: Foster a strong online community by engaging with our audience, responding to comments and messages, and organizing online events.
• Digital Marketing: Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, such as email marketing and paid advertising.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
• Digital Support: Provide support to other digital & digital marketing initiatives in conjunction with other professionals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging content.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and content management systems.

Compensation

Remuneration is determined based on current roles agreed upon and aligned with the candidate’s experience level with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

Consideration will be made to the quotation shared.
